Nigel Hawke’s Thorne Farm Racing Blog- Friday 17th August 2018

This week has been relatively quiet on the runner’s side of things for Thorne Farm, but it certainly isn’t that way at home on the yard. With all the horses back into work now the team are extremely busy with riding out and taking care of them all.
Due to a couple of days with heavy rain, on Wednesday we were able to school a few of the horses out on the grass over hurdles. Its great to get them out on the grass as they can properly stretch out and it would be the nearest thing to being in a race.

On Saturday 1st September at 6pm Nigel Hawke Thorne Farm Racing Club is holding an open evening for existing members and potential members. The racing club is a great way to get involved in racehorse ownership at a very reasonable cost. If you think that you might be interested, please contact Nigel Hawke on 07769 295839.

On Sunday 2nd September Thorne Farm will be hosting its annual open day. It is invitation only but if you would be interested in coming and also have an interest in buying into our racehorses or having a horse in training with Nigel then please do not hesitate to contact Nigel on 07769 295839.
