Nigel Hawke’s Thorne Farm Racing Blog 29 September 2017

There is nothing much to report this week, the horses are all in good form and raring  to go as soon as the ground eases. We have been doing loads of schooling over hurdles and fences especially with the young horses and there all shaping up well. A few horses that had a year off are back on the gallops again, Rejaah looks great and has filled out a lot and obviously has a lot of ability. Another one  to mention is Blue Sire, he’s a half-brother to Sire De Grugy and is very lightly raced, he’s very fragile but if we can keep him sound he could be anything. The entries next week at Newton Abbot, on Monday are Take A Break and Georgina Joy could both run. Racing on Wednesday, at Bangor we have Lady Mix ,Atlantic King and Take A Break.
